End stage capitalism has past. I have named the new ism “Scumunism.” Health care will worsen then become your financial responsibility.

I have many anecdotal stories about our disease care system failures. I won’t bore you.

Climate Collapse will be coopted and sold as “God’s Revenge” for “name it.” No matter that He aborted, by drowning, the fetuses of EVERY pregnant woman on earth and killed everyone in the Great Flood. (Not to mention Hosea 13:16.). No health care was needed.

I deal w this every week. My severe stroke patient is allowed 10 sessions of therapy before requiring recertification. Essential medications are not covered. Specialists and internists can’t get credentialed in these plans. But, they give free gym memberships…

Everything I read and encounter with healthcare in the US is extremely discouraging. Passively watching this disaster steamroll forward is unacceptable. I have no bright ideas for solving the problems but will put my energy behind anyone who does.

It's not just Medicare, the contractors are fleecing providers through the Medicaid funds too. When I reported all of this to the state representatives, they definitely agreed that not paying for lipid panels and A1Cs for diabetic patients was criminal, for example. They asked Ohio Medicaid to step in and they refused to. It's all very lazy people who aren't going to push themselves to advocate for our tax dollars. They aren't mean per se, just not interested in working for public good. And to be honest you kind of can't blame them- what's in it for Ohio Medicaid employees to put their neck on the line if their pay doesn't increase? Just let the labs go under and not worry about it.
