There are ZERO reviews demonstrating that anyone actually receives financial support through CrowdHealth. This lack of proof indicates that this does not actually work for people any better then just trying one of these other "crowd funding" sites. PROVE that "members" get "50% off their bills". Many doctors and hospitals will REFUSE any discounts for cash payments too. The Mayo refused to discount ANY services I had to pay for example with the bill coming in at about $90,000. The propaganda that surrounds this topic is enormous, but the reality is very different.
Insurance became the norm when some people found that doctors were increasing their pay as you go prices and driving around in cars worth more that some peoples homes. It started in unions as a benefit. Today Insurance is building buildings, contracting with pharmacies (CVS & Aetna), and generally making a mint while denying claims for services that are life saving.
